Case Study: Live Broadcasts for the Banking Sector

Among the organizations vzivo works with are two of Slovenia's major banks, NLB and UniCredit. Banking clients bring a specific kind of pressure to a live production: the content is often financial or regulatory in nature, the audience includes journalists and shareholders, and there is very little tolerance for a technical glitch on screen.

The challenge. Financial communications — results presentations, press conferences, corporate events — need to look and sound as polished as the institution behind them, while running on infrastructure that can't be allowed to fail mid-broadcast.

Our approach. We bring the same multi-camera, redundant-connectivity setup we use for any high-stakes broadcast: backup internet links, protocols like RTMP and SRT running in parallel, and a crew that coordinates closely with the bank's own communications team on run of show, timing, and messaging.

The result. Both NLB and UniCredit have come back to vzivo for repeat engagements — the clearest sign in this line of work that a broadcast did its job without anyone in the room having to think about the technology behind it.
